BIOGRAPHYEvangelist Keeya Chapman-Langford, known as Evg. Keeya CL, is a dynamic soul-stirring vocalist with a deep passion and love for gospel music. She exhibits a traditional gospel sound with driving tempos that will have you on your feet praising the Lord.
Evangelist Keeya has been singing almost as long as she has been living. The gift of music was identified early in her life, and she began ministering in song as a lead soloist at the age of six and was preaching by the age of sixteen. She has used her gifts not only in the church world but has been privileged to present her gift to the world in musical theater. Evangelist Keeya has performed in many stage productions, to name a few; Dreamgirls, Black Nativity, Julius Caesar Set in Africa, Purses, and A Raisin in the Sun. In 2015 she was named the Female Actor of the Year by the International Modeling and Talent Association in NY and awarded the Chanticleer Award for Best Female Actor for her performance of Mama Lena Younger in A Raisin in the Sun. She is a gifted recording artist, creative and innovative lyricist, powerful playwright – with her traveling stage production, When Jesus Knocks; and a true Woman of God. She has had the honor of being one of the praise and worship leaders in her local church and has assisted other ministries in this capacity as well. She is a vibrant motivational speaker on both spiritual and natural matters. She is an Evangelist and literary author of the thought-provoking and award-winning Christian study guide, Violated by the Enemy, soon to be republished by Xulon Press. As you listen to the God-given songs and sermons of Evangelist Keeya C-L, it is our prayer that you receive encouragement, strength, and God’s divine direction for your life. |
