Kellie D. Edwards is a dedicated and passionate educator, and advocate, committed to promoting equity and transformative experiences for all students, particularly those most vulnerable. As a licenced educator and administrator, with nearly three decades of experience in Columbus City Schools, Kellie has become a champion for student success, fostering environments of inclusion, care, and resilience.
As a graduate of Shaw High School in East Cleveland, Central State University, Ashland University, and Harvard’s School Leadership Institute, Kellie brings a wealth of knowledge and training to her work. She is equipped with advanced expertise in cultural responsiveness, equity and literacy, trauma-informed care, nonviolent crisis intervention, and restorative practices. Kellie’s leadership of influence is grounded in fairness, empathy, and collaboration, always seeking to bring about systemic changes that improve educational outcomes, close achievement gaps, and create safe, supportive school cultures. Outside of her professional life, Kellie has a strong interest in history, politics, music, dance, and travel, which fuels her deep desire to serve and connect with people from all walks of life. Driven by a servant’s heart and an unwavering belief in the power of community, Kellie continues to lead by example, working tirelessly to uplift individuals and create pathways to success for all. |
