EDWARD HILL Edward (Ed) Hill, a native of Centralia, Illinois, has made Ohio his home for over 35 years. His lifelong passions for music, education, and connecting with people have shaped both his personal and professional journey. Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Arts from The Ohio State University.
A gifted and versatile musician, Ed has performed on some of the world’s most renowned stages, including the Apollo Theater in Harlem, Wrigley Field in Chicago, and venues across London. He is the founder and leader of the contemporary jazz group Copacetic and is recognized as a skilled writer, producer, arranger, and composer. Professionally, Ed is a technology expert and data strategist who uses design thinking and innovation to address complex challenges. As the Ohio FAFSA Data Service Lead at the Management Council, he supports statewide efforts to help students and families navigate the path to post-secondary education by providing tools, resources, and data-driven insights. Through his company, Edge Productions, Ed offers a range of services, including technical consulting, music production, and leadership development. He is a valued member of the Ohio Health Learning Advisory Board and the Tapestry Advisory Board, where he lends his expertise to advance impactful initiatives. |
