Lisa R. MunnerlynLisa R. Munnerlyn is a passionate and accomplished professional with a deep commitment to education and community. A proud product of Columbus City Schools, Lisa began her career in the private sector as the president of a home health care agency before transitioning into education. Her journey in the field includes serving as a special education teacher, dean of students, principal, and now, a Special Education Supervisor.
With over two decades of experience, Lisa is a dynamic and results-driven leader who excels in strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, and policy development. Her work focuses on driving organizational effectiveness, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting the district's educational mission. She is also dedicated to implementing innovative strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. On a personal level, Lisa has been married for 32 years to her best friend and pastor. She is the proud mother of an exceptional young woman, a graduate of the Africentric Early College High School, and the grandmother of an incredible 5-year-old boy who she fondly describes as "superhuman." Lisa's dedication to her family and community is evident in every aspect of her life and work. |
